For all of you thinking about maybe coming to this shoot, you need to quit thinking about it and JUMP on it quick as this will be one of the best target presentations you will see all year.  This will be my third trip to Northbrook, because this club goes the extra mile to present a premier event, and I especially like England's Dave Peckham and his unique style of setting targets that work with the multi-level terrain at Northbrook.  They will be entertaining, fun, and shootable for all levels of shooters.

Breakfast and lunch are available daily in the clubs restaurant everyday, and shells will be also available at reasonable pricing.

Just 40 minutes or so North of Chicago, it's an easy place to get to, and there are far too many hotels nearby to even mention.  Being close to Chicago, the selection of restaurants and nightlife alone is awesome, and you will find plenty of entertainment for the whole family nearby.  Shopping malls, Six Flags amusement park, and the many beaches on Lake Michigan are within a half hour of the grounds.

Don't miss this superb shooting event!

Fabulous Door Prize added to UK/US Masters!
Many thanks to Howard Berman and Meadow Island Adventures for their generosity, what a great hunt!!

From Howard:
As previously indicated to express our gratitude for hosting the tournament we would like to donate a one day two-man hunt at Meadow Island Adventures for the 2010 – 2011 season.

Details of the hunt are as follows:

This is a two person hunt from dawn to dusk during the 2010 / 2011 season.  Generally the hunt starts at the Point Lookout town dock at 5AM.  Hunters may bring their dog(s) if desired.

The hunt is conducted out of one of several blind boats specifically designed to hunt an area of salt marsh that acts as an estuary for many species of fish and fowl.

Early set-up will target Black duck and Mallard.  Hunters should expect to have their Black duck limit by 10:30 when the focus of the hunt will be changed to Atlantic Brant.  Depending on wind and tide the location of the hunt will be either adjusted or a full move to another part of the bay will be made.

Around 2PM the hunt party should be limited on Atlantic Brant and the hunt will be switched to diving ducks.  Old Squaw (Long Tail), Broad Bill (Blue Bill), and Bufflehead will be targeted till ˝ hr before dusk when hunting must be suspended.

Hunters should be made to understand that this is an exciting, hard core, waterfowl hunt.  Advanced hunters will enjoy this, and preparations regarding proper clothing are required.  The winner of this hunt should contact Captain Dennis or me to get many of the details of the hunt, the weather, and the equipment that we use.

Best regards,

Howard…

PS Depending on the date chosen, the hunters may want to extend their hunt to a multi-day hunt and stay at the beach house on Meadow Island for the full experience.  Dennis’s rates are very reasonable.  Additionally, you can site Andy Duffy and Christian Suter as references attesting to the quality of this hunt and how productive it is.
